We are seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to run our Soho shop. This is a unique opportunity to join a new type of British spectacles company, as we continue on our exciting journey.

The role:

  • Support the Store Manager to ensure the seamless running of the shop and help meet our ambitious sales targets and customer experience standards
  • In the Store Manager’s absence, manage all dispensing activities within the store
  • Manage and work alongside the store optometrists and retail associates to provide impeccable lens and frame selection, fitting and customer service
  • Work alongside our glazing partners, excelling in lens selection
  • Develop, execute, and constantly improve operational activities to ensure the store exceeds financial and customer focused goals
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout the store and embody our core values
  • Develop and ensure procedures are followed to protect the company’s inventory and assets as well as all activities related to risk management and safety
  • Assist with initial and ongoing training development for all team members
  • Act as a representative for our brand, helping to educate and excite others about our mission and values
  • Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge as well as accurately describing features and benefits of various lenses and Cubitts frames
  • Assist with event planning and develop outreach to build relationships with the local community in order to drive revenue and brand awareness

Who you are:

This position is full-time therefore you must be available to work for 40 hours per week, including weekend days.


The role:

  • Lead by example to effectively manage sales, deal with enquiries, manage our patient booking system and offer impeccable customer service
  • To dispense our products to consistently high standards, excelling at fitting frames, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and giving expert style advice
  • Ensure the retail environment is flawlessly run, including taking responsibility for visual merchandising and the in-store experience
  • To act as a representative for our brand to help educate and excite others about our mission and values
  • To comfortably explain eye health, eyewear and prescription terminology to patients (full training will be given)
  • This is a part-time or full-time position. You must be available to work a minimum of 2 days a week/40 hours per week, including availability on weekends.

Previous retail experience is required, preferably in an optical or boutique brand, although interest and passion is most important.

Remuneration: £9.90 / hour plus monthly sales bonuses



We’re seeking a talented Customer Service Associate (full time) to join our team. This will be based at our HQ in King’s Cross, London. The successful candidates will become an integral part of the team as we seek to grow from a successful startup to a globally recognised brand.

The role:

You will support our customers throughout their Cubitts experience. We want to deliver amazing customer service every day of the week. You will be on hand to deliver fast, efficient, personal support to any customer who needs a helping hand.

  • You will control live chat, email, telephone, and social media channels
  • You will work together with the Operations team to provide speedy order turnaround
  • You will monitor our patient/order management system
  • You will be creative and constantly consider new ways to help us provide the best possible customer service
  • You will engage with colleagues from all other departments to ensure we are always improving
