SENIOR OPTICAL ASSOCIATE, CUBITTS ST. JAMES'S, LONDON

We are looking for an experienced Senior Optical Associate to join our St. James’s Atelier store. This location offers our bespoke spectacles and sunglasses, the unique St James's collection and water buffalo horn frames in addition to our ready-to-wear range.

The role:

  • To support the team to ensure the seamless running of the shop
  • Work alongside the store optometrists and retail associates to provide impeccable lens and frame selection, fitting and customer service
  • Demonstrate our exclusive Bespoke and Made-To-Measure frame services and explain the benefits
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout the store and embody our core values
  • Act as a representative for our brand, helping to educate and excite others about our mission and values
  • Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge as well as accurately describing features and benefits of various lenses and Cubitts frames

Who you are:

  • Our ideal candidate will be someone with knowledge of bespoke frames and the Cubitts brand.
  • Who shows initiative and a genuine passion for eyewear.
  • We require you to have a minimum of two year’s experience in an optical role.

This position is full-time therefore you must be available to work for 40 hours per week, including weekend days.

SENIOR OPTICAL ASSOCIATE / JUNIOR OPTICAL ASSOCIATE - LONDON STORES

The role:

  • Lead by example to effectively manage sales, deal with enquiries, manage our patient booking system and offer impeccable customer service
  • To dispense our products to consistently high standards, excelling at fitting frames, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and giving expert style advice
  • Ensure the retail environment is flawlessly run, including taking responsibility for visual merchandising and the in-store experience
  • To act as a representative for our brand to help educate and excite others about our mission and values
  • To comfortably explain eye health, eyewear and prescription terminology to patients (full training will be given)
  • This is a part-time or full-time position. You must be available to work a minimum of 2 days a week/40 hours per week, including availability on weekends.

Experience:

Previous retail experience is required, preferably in an optical or boutique brand, although interest and passion is most important.

Remuneration: £9.90 / hour plus monthly sales bonuses


RESIDENT OPTOMETRISTS - FULL-TIME AND WEEKENDS

We are seeking full-time and part-time Optometrists to be based in one of our five London practices. You will be providing outstanding clinical care, and the highest calibre of eye examinations to our patients.

  • BSc (Hons) Optometry from a leading institution

HQ VACANCIES

INVENTORY COORDINATOR

We are looking for a full-time Inventory Coordinator to join our Operations team. Located at Caledonian Road, you'll become part of the vital operational outfit at Cubitts HQ, based in the heart of King's Cross, London.

The role:

  • You will be supporting the Operations team to efficiently satisfy and predict all customer order fulfilment.
  • Work to accurately process, input and maintain control of all stock movements within the company.
  • Identify stock discrepancies, correct them and report findings to the Operations Manager.
  • Assist the Operations Associates with daily stock replenishment tasks.
  • Prepare for and assist with conducting periodic stock audits.

Who you are:

  • A hands-ons, highly organised and motivated individual, with an analytical flair for accuracy and numeracy.
  • A self-starter with plenty of energy, you can be trusted to work to deadlines under limited supervision.
  • You work calmly under pressure and can easily keep track of a complex set of responsibilities.
  • You must be passionate about spectacles, familiar with the Cubitts brand, and excited to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing company.

Previous experience in a stock management or retail Goods-In role is preferred but not essential - enthusiasm and a genuine interest in the Cubitts brand is paramount. You must be available to work weekend days when required.
